Mercedes - I can’t see how Lewis loses this, other than off the start. Bottas needs to find that hyper-competitive mode from earlier in the year... I really get the feeling that he’s slowly accepting defeat but that is probably just my imagination.

Ferrari - somehow, Leclerc is going to finish behind Vettel.

Red Bull - I think Max can stay ahead of the McLarens. Gasly, I don’t really care about at this point but I hope he has a good home race.

McLaren - A P6+P7 would be amazing. I expect Vettel to get ahead of the pair but Gasly to be behind.

Renault - hopefully we’ll see RIC make some strong passes, Hulk is in a good position to make up ground but pace is difficult to differentiate from P11 back (except Williams).

HAM + Mercedes are on another level. Whatever hope Bottas gave us at the beginning of the year is more or less gone. He’ll probably have another couple of strong races but he should be within a few seconds of Lewis at all times, biding his time before making the push to overtake.

+12s on your teammate in identical equipment is pretty dismal (and don’t get me started on Gasly).

I don’t think Grosjean, Kubica, or Gasly will have their seats at the end of the year.

It’d be funny if one underperforming Frenchman replaced the other at Haas, but it seems like Gasly doesn’t have what it takes at the top level even if he’s OK in the midfield. Maybe Haas is where he belongs, although at that point the team would es sentially be admitting that it cannot move further up the table.

Kubica should make way for Latifi or some Mercedes driver (whether it’s Ocon or some other junior). I really wished we all had the 2010 Kubica back but he’s long gone.

To end, Bottas and Gasly is just rubbish. Str oll raced decently again, his quali’s are just so horrible. Kubica best of Williams, however that’s not much to celebrate. Oh and I don’t see the love about Leclerc, at the moment he’s just kinda “there” I guess. I still rate Vettel as the better driver, needs to keep his head focused is all.
